The vouchers, which are required for processing admission applications, vary across universities and Colleges of Education, reflecting differences in programmes and admission structures.
At the University of Cape Coast (UCC), undergraduate application vouchers are selling at GHS 250, while postgraduate applicants are expected to pay GHS 350. Applicants applying for change of programme or “switch” options will pay GHS 180.
Similarly, the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has set its undergraduate voucher price at GHS 290, with postgraduate forms going for GHS 360. These fees are in line with the institution’s flexible admission pathways, including full-time, sandwich, and distance programmes.
For teacher education, all Colleges of Education across the country have standardized their application voucher cost at GHS 380, as part of efforts to streamline admissions into the teacher training system.
The University of Ghana (UG), Ghana’s premier university, is offering undergraduate application vouchers at GHS 250, maintaining its competitive but accessible admission process.
At the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), applicants will pay GHS 280 for undergraduate forms, GHS 350 for postgraduate applications, and GHS 550 for PhD programmes, reflecting the institution’s growing focus on professional and advanced academic training.
The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has pegged its undergraduate voucher price at GHS 260, while the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) also charges GHS 260 for undergraduate applications.
Likewise, the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has set its undergraduate voucher cost at GHS 260, reinforcing its commitment to skills-based education.
For postgraduate applicants, the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) has fixed its application voucher at GHS 330, targeting specialized programmes in mining and technology.
