It's not just about apologizing for destroying state properties; those responsible must face the consequences of their actions. This includes paying for the damages and facing necessary sanctions. Apologies alone are insufficient, as they don't address the underlying issues or hold individuals accountable for their behavior.
The actions of these parliamentarians undermine the democratic process, erode trust in institutions, and set a poor example and precedence for the public. It's essential to condemn such behavior outright and demand more from our elected representatives.
The Hon. Speaker and the leadership of parliament must put stringent measures in place to address.
